International Symposium on New Issues in Teacher Education (ISNITE) has long served as a dynamic and inspiring platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners dedicated to advancing teacher education worldwide. Since its inception, ISNITE has brought together hundreds of international participants and distinguished speakers, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in the field of teacher education.
Our symposiums have been held in various countries across Europe, each hosted by reputable academic institutions and supported by passionate educational communities:
2013 – Hacettepe University, Türkiye
2014 – Macerata, Italy
2015 – Volos, Greece
2016 – Savonlinna, Finland
2017 – Gdańsk, Poland
2019 – Valletta, Malta
Following 2019, we experienced an unexpected pause due to global circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly disrupted our academic and logistical planning, leading us to postpone our activities. A subsequent attempt to organize ISNITE in Ukraine was unfortunately cancelled due to the ongoing war in the region.
Yet, after six years, we are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return of ISNITE. With the same passion and enthusiasm that marked our very first gathering, ISNITE2025 is making a powerful comeback. We are more eager than ever to reconnect with our community, to exchange ideas, and to contribute to the future of teacher education with fresh perspectives and renewed energy.
Join us in Bursa, Türkiye, as we revive our shared journey, and let’s shape the future of teacher education—together.
